DMSA was approved by the FDA in 1992 for the detoxing and chelation (removal) of heavy metals, specifically,

100 mg of pure pharmaceutical grade DMSA
200 mg Ascorbic Acid
50 mg Glycine

The addition of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and glycine greatly increase the effectivness of DMSA. These two additions allow
DMSA Synergy to remove more heavy metals from your body than DMSA alone does.
